Poem of the Month

Present Presence   

I know you miss me

I miss you also

I know that you wish I'd come back sooner and stay longer

I feel the same way my dear friend

But I am right where I need to be at this point in time

You're occupied with your career and beautiful family of yours

I'm still pursuing

So don't let go so quickly this time

Right now my schedule is empty

So please

Hold on tighter this time

I don't mind not breathing for a while

We are going to have to eventually let each other go and return to our lives soon

But as for right now

there is no place else I'd rather be

Again I say please

Do not let go just yet

When you finally release me I want you to watch me walk away with multiple thoughts and emotions at a high

Stop and feel

All the other times when I came back to see you as promised

That I meant what I said when I told you I would always make time to spend with you no matter how fulfilling my life may ever come close to being
